Welcome to my blog. This is an educational blog designed for primary education. Currently it is a trial run to test out the tools available in Edublogs and also provide myself with a professional development platform.

I am inspried by a number of quality blogs and I would love to build up this space and merge it with my current teaching situation teaching year 2 & 3’s at a Catholic school in Australia.

Please find the links below to my favourite educational blogs.

Thanks James,
I went to the cegSA conference today and will be presenting there tomorrow afternoon. It was a great day and I look forward to attending a clay animation workshop in the morning. I hope to do some clay animations with my students and then share the work on the blog.

Please find the new professional development tab for some relfections on the conference and good links.

Hi – I am Andrew from Balmoral School, Auckland, New Zealand. I have just come across your site through the ‘blogs of the hour’ at the main edublogs site.

I teach Years 5/6 and we have recently begun our own journey into blogging. I see that you blog site is kind of quiet but if you are willing to allow your students access to http://www.room29space.edublogs.org we would love to chat, bounce ideas and understandings with your class of children. We are currently on a 2 week break but will be back really soon. Please check out some of the kids awesome thinking and leave us a note.

Keep in touch.

Hi Kate

A great start to your blog. I’ll be a regular visitor! My students have regular homework tasks to comment on other blogs. I’ll make sure some of them visit yours. I’ll add your blog to our blogroll. Feel free to add ours http://pamthompson.edublogs.org

Just to let you know your link for Room 20 doesn’t work.

Pam
