Pet club
Due to popular demand an in-school pet club will start.
It is Tessa and Georgie’s idea and therefore they are the captains. Start to think of what kinds of things you want on this page girls and what actions in the school you will organise. Write it up in a Word document and then show me. After scanning over it we will put it on the blog together. This way you get to see how you add material onto a blog. You could collect class photos of pets too and make a collage or something. Your work could even link to the art club with pet art.
Why don’t you get Bradley to help draw some amazing pictures and create a colouring in competition for the school as a whole and then put the winners on the blog. It would be a good way to kick start the cause of your page.

HI PET CLUB I AM GETTING MICE TODAY I AM SO EXCITED

ON FRIDAY OUR CLASS WAS OUT FOR FITNESS AND A MOUSE RAN PAST US AND WENT UNDER THE BIN. EVERYONE THOUGHT IT WAS SO CUTE SO EVERYONE TRIED TO CATCH THE POOR LITTLE FELLA. HE RAN UNDER THE PORTABLE AND EVERYONE WAS SAD BECAUSE MISS T SAID THERE WAS A BIG, NASTY, HAIRY CAT UNDER THERE! WE WERE THINKING ABOUT HIM FOR THE REST OF THE DAY AND I CAME UP WITH AN IDEA. WE COULD GET A PET MOUSE TO KEEP AT SCHOOL! WE ASKED MISS T ABOUT IT AND SHE SAID YES! TESSA AND I WENT HOME AND TOLD OUR MUMS ABOUT WHAT HAD HAPPENED AT SCHOOL AND TOLD THEM OUR PLAN! AT FIRST THEY SAID “NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO WAY!”. TESSA AND I THOUGHT OH NO. WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO NOW? SO WE WERE TEXTING EACH OTHER AND TESSA WROTE “JUST KEEP BEGGING OUR MUMS UNTIL THEY SAY YES” SO I WENT WITH IT. FINALY THEY BOTH SAID YES SO I ASKED MY DAD TO TAKE US ON WEDNESDAY AND HE SAID YES AS WELL! I WENT HOME WITH TESSA AND MY DAD CAME TO PICK US UP AND OFF WE WENT! WE GOT THERE AND WE WERE SO SO SO EXITED AND WE RAN INTO THE SHOP TO PICK A MOUSE! WE WERE PICKING THE CAGE AND TESSA POINTED OUT A PRICE TAG ON A SMALL CAGE THE SIZE OF A TISSUE BOX THAT WAS $99!!!!!!!!! I SAID “OH NO! WE ONLY HAVE $56. WE CANT GET A CAGE” BUT DAD POINTED OUT THAT THERE WAS A TOP SHELF! WE CHOSE A CAGE WITH A HOUSE, WHEEL, LADDER, BRIDGE, A WATER BOTTLE, AND 2 FOOD BUCKETS.I PICKED A LONG HAIRED CHOCOLATE COLOURED MOUSE. TESSA GOT A LONG HAIRED GINGER AND WHITE COLOURED ONE. MY MUM RANG MY DAD AND SAID TO GET A MOUSE FOR EMILY SO WE GOT HER ON LIKE A TIGER! I NAMED MINE SQUEAKY. TESSAS NIBBLE. EMILYS STRIPES. THEY ARE SO HAPPY IN THERE NEW HOME AND EVERYONE AT SCHOOL LOVES THEM! EMILY GOT A MOUSE ON THE WEEKEND NAMED SPLASH AND MOLLYS SQUIGGLE! ALANAH MIGHT GET A MOUSE
I am glad the mice have been a hit with you all. You are lucky I don’t mind having 3 in the class-some of the other teachers are not too fond of mice at all. It was a bit off-putting when Emily brought in her 3 mice so that there were 5 in the class-counting Tessa abd Emily’s!
Stripes is so funny the way he always runs around and around the wheel and takes bedding into their house. They seem to really like their house.
Alanah are you getting a male or female? You might be able to bring it in to meet Georgie and Tessa’s. But we want only 1 cage in the classroom at a time-and not a triple decker!
We have a big day tomorrow with the blessing of the school-we could have our colouring in competition that day as we need to be spending time in the classroom settled and not making any mess…
