The Art Club
Currently in the resource centre there is an art exhibition of year 5KT Indigenous Art. There are dot painting, X-Ray paintings and also dot painted boomerangs. Have a look!
On our classroom door is a growing display of our political cartooing with brilliant copies by Bradley, Ursula and Katherine to original cartoons that are very funny by Stella and one to come from Julia-keep them coming!
Here is one from Bradley:
The Smarty Arties (named by Lani) is headed by our artist in residence (a student)-Bradley!
This page will be an environment in which the students can share their artistic creations from drawings, clay pots, clay cartouches, perfume bottles (from the Egytpian studies). There are many materials being used such as plasticine, plaster (for fossils), painting and animated movie making (a separate page in this blog).
We will have an art compeition starting up next term-post your ideas onto this blog.
Happy artistic endevours!

I will upload a picture Katherine did of an American Indian after doing some Thanksgiving activities in class last Friday. She sure is great at drawing. I will try and get her to draw some original Christmas drawings and we will print them out and get students to colour them in.
